In 2006, the innovative team cultivated by our university made great breakthrough. The team led by Shi Liyi was selected as 2006 technological innovative team by the municipal educational commission, who focused on large-scale transportation of electricity and development of key material and equipment against lightning in power grids construction.

The constructive project of Shanghai technological innovative team was taken for the purpose of comprehensively carrying out the spirit of national scientific and technological conference, meeting the demand of Shanghai mid and long term scientific and technological development and improving the competence of self-innovation. It was based on investigation and research, which was recommended and evaluated by experts. 8 projects in all was listed for special constructive item. It was the very first time for our university to have this honor.
