Subsidize projects of 2006 Dawn Plan was revealed. After item reply and experts judges, Doctor Kang Liying and An Ping from our university were selected as 2006 Dawn Scholars. Another 25 scholars were chosen in the Dawn Trace Project.

Funded by Shanghai municipal educational foundation, the Dawn Project had greatly advanced the cultivation of excellent young teachers since its founding in 1995. It contributed a lot to fields of fundamental research, social and scientific and technological research as well as to the economic construction and social development. It had formed a high-qualified team of Dawn Scholars. Some of them had become the key person in their university.

The project approved were Cang Liying's research on optimization of the selection of the location of aversion-model facilities and An Ping's expression and reappearance of free views based on light space.

The tracing project were Fei Mingrui's research on multivariable network study control system based on Internet and Wu Minhong's research on high-frequency and hyperbaric electron beam radiation to deal with sludge.
