On Oct.27,Statistic of China scientific papers of 2005 was revealed in the international conference center in Beijing. the number of papers from our university embodied was 1889,an increase of 280 or 17% than last year. Among these papers 955 was embodied by three international retrieval organization and 934 by national scientific paper and index database.

Among these presented papers, 362 papers was embodied by SCI which mainly show study on basic natural science, an increase of 34 and ranging 29th among China's university and college. 398 papers was embodied by EI which focus on study engineer science, an increase of 159 and ranging 34th. 195 was embodied by ISTP which reflect scientific researchers' participation in international scientific conference, an increase of 51 and ranging 37th. At the same time, the number of papers from our university indexed also rose. Among all the disciplines, mathematics of our university output a great number of scientific paper, which ranged 9th throughout the country and second only to Fudan University and Jiaoda University in Shanghai.
