Professor Shi Liyi, director of science and technology department, together with 7 chief researchers of ecological inhabitation of Chongming island and health focus laboratory of Shanghai University made a field study in Forward Village on Chongming island. In light of the goal of applying the current scientific strength of our university in the ecologic construction of Chongming island and for the purpose of serving the island, the science and technology department made a timely adjustment to research direction of lab. The inspection team made a discussion with leaders of Chongming county, in the hope that we could advance the development of the laboratory in island to serve the local people better.
