Doctor Qing Shuiyang from Japanese industry economic and cooperative institute made a lecture on 'research on liquid crystals semiconductor and field effect transistor' on the new campus in the morning of Sept.27. Mr Hao Jian, Deputy director of science and technology department made an address before the lecture. He welcomed Mr Qing Shuiyang's visit and expressed that science and technology department would continuously organized exclusive lecture concerning material and appliance.
Doctor Qing Shuiyang was graduated from Osaka University of Japan who had majored in liquid crystal chemistry. Then he engaged in the research work of liquid crystal material in Mitsubishi electronic limited company, Osaka industrial technology institute and Japanese industry economic and cooperative institute.
In his lecture, Doctor Qing Shuiyang introduced the newest research results of his research team on the application of liquid crystal material in the field of semionductor. He brought forward the design concept and prospect for development and research of new organic liquid crystal material in field effect transistor appliance, which enlightened the professors and students attended.
