Invited by the scientific and technological research centre of nanotechnology of Shanghai University, British doctor Girish. M. Kale from school of material science of Lees university visited our university on Sept.15. The purpose of his 5-day visit was to see scientific research of scientific and technological research centre of nanotechnology of Shanghai University and the key laboratory of ferrous metallurgy, and then discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two universities.

Doctor Kale made an academic lecture on Chemistry from micro to molecule scale materials on Yanchang campus in the afternoon of Sept.15. During the lecture professors and postgraduates from both sides made a warm discussion on the concerned research issue.After the lecture Doctor Kale visited the laboratory and centre of analysis and testing with great interests. Finally, the two parties signed an agreement on international cooperation on certain project and cultivating postgraduates.
